Bruce Campbell

Bruce Campbell, Ph.D., is the creator of the CFIDS and Fibromyalgia Self-Help program. A recovered CFS patient, he is a graduate of Stanford University and holds a Ph.D. from the University of California. He has been a consultant to more than a dozen research projects at the Stanford Medical School, including work with David Spiegel's group support research, and work with the Arthritis Self-Help course and the Chronic Disease Self-Management course. He is the author of our course textbook, The Patient's Guide to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. His account of recovery is posted at Recovery from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. A shorter version was published in the magazine of the CFIDS Association of America.
