Living Your Plan


A free, ongoing group that focuses on offering support and tools for creating and implementing a self-management plan. The course includes weekly goal-setting and discussion around a topic, which changes each month. 
 

Cost & Registration
The course is free, but registration is limited to people who have completed our Introductory Self-Help course. 
 


Schedule

The group is ongoing and open-ended. 
 

Topics
Each month is devoted to a single topic in rotation. Topics include:

  • Managing symptoms
  • Key skills in pacing
  • Obstacles to pacing and how to overcome them
  • Minimizing relapses
  • Managing emotions
  • Stress and healing
  • Reducing mental suffering
  • Improving relationships
  • Loss and resilience
  • Self-management skills

Course Details

  • Groups consist of about 15 to 20 people each
  • Led by trained peer volunteers and group members
  • Taught via list server (email)
  • Prerequisite: Introductory Self-Help course
